I  heard many people saying: "A real traveler is a person who has been to countless places"

Traveling is not a competition of how many places we've been and how many quality photos & videos we've taken!

A  real traveler is able to share, teach & offer things that can't be bought anywhere. Love and happiness! #fym

As I said, travelling is not just about ticking off destinations from your bucket list or taking pictures for your Instagram. It's about the people you meet, the memories you create, and the experiences you have that make your journey truly special. That's exactly what we discovered when we travelled to China, Sichuan - Aba Region where the Tibetan minority lives.

As we passed through Xiaojin County, we were greeted with open arms by Mama Mima, who invited us into her home and treated us to some of the most delicious wild mushrooms we have ever tasted. Chef Lion, who was eager to learn about the local cuisine and cooking techniques, was given the opportunity to exchange cooking knowledge and skills with the Tibetan Mama.

As they cooked together, the aroma of the ingredients filled the air and the sounds of the wind blowing through the mountains and the streams gurgling nearby, provided a serene and peaceful backdrop. The laughter and conversation, accompanied by the occasional dance in front of a unique Tibetan tent, created an unforgettable experience.

The Tibetan Mama, proud of her heritage, cooked Dry Yak meat, a staple dish in the region, and served it with wild mushrooms. To complete the meal, she also prepared Tibetan milk tea with knee bread, a traditional tea that is both sweet and comforting. Lion, who wanted to share his own culinary skills, cooked a delicious tomato bruschetta with mashed potatoes and a tofu tomato sauce. The combination of the two dishes was a beautiful representation of the cultural exchange that took place.

People in Aba Tibetan are incredibly welcoming to foreigners and love to share their food and customs with those who are interested. This experience of sharing food and laughter with our new friends is something we will never forget. As we left Aba Tibetan, we were filled with gratitude for the hospitality and warmth we received.

So remember please, travelling is not just about the places you visit, but about the people you meet and the experiences you have. In Aba Tibetan, we found a piece of heaven where love and happiness reigns, and we were able to take a little bit of it with us on our journey. I think this will be our best memories of each other! Thank you, China for this incredible experience.
